Arsenal Unveil Ex-Chelsea Keeper Petr Cech

Image
Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Share on Google+ Share by email Arsenal have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea for around £10m. The 33-year-old, who signed what Arsenal described as a "long-term contract", made more than 400 appearances in 11 years for the Blues. He decided to leave Stamford Bridge after losing his first-team spot to Thibaut Courtois. He won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, Europa League, four FA Cups and three League Cup trophies with Chelsea. Although Chelsea were reluctant to let Cech join one of their rivals, the Czech Republic international was assured he could choose his preferred destination after his service to the club. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said Cech was one of the outstanding keepers in the world and would be a great addition to the Gunners' squad. He told the club's website: "Petr Cech is a player that I have admired for a long time and I am very pleased tha

Gonzalo Jara gets three-game ban for Copa incident

Image
Chile's Gonzalo Jara will miss the rest of the Copa America after being given a three-match ban for anincident in which he appeared to poke his finger against Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani's backside. South American football governing body Conmebol said the defender was being suspended for "unsporting behaviour". Jara has also been fined $7,500 (£4,780). The incident happened during Chile's  1-0 quarter-final win  last Thursday. Cavani was given a second yellow card after he slapped Jara, who went unpunished, in retaliation. Former West Brom and Nottingham Forest defender Jara's ban means he will miss the semi-final clash with Peru on Monday and, depending on the result of that game, either the final or third-place playoff. He will also be suspended for Chile's first match of the qualifying campaign for the 2018 World Cup.

Sunday Oliseh: Nigeria May Not Qualify for Afcon 2017

Image
A former Super Eagles Captain, Sunday Oliseh, has said Nigeria may, for the umpteenth time, miss out on qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations. The Eagles were unable to qualify for the 2015 AFCON held in Equatorial Guinea and according to Oliseh, if the disturbing events that has trailed the first qualifying match in the 2017 qualification series are not addressed on time, Nigeria may again be a spectator at the showpiece event fixed to hold in Gabon early 2017. "Let Nigeria leave side issues and player character attacks aside and face pure football issues. Otherwise we might not be at the next Nations cup again as participants but mere spectators!" Oliseh wrote on his personal blog sundayoliseh.tv. The former Juventus and Ajax of Amsterdam midfielder faulted how the Nigeria Football Federation has been all over the place in their quest to nail Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama for his supposed "uncomplimentary remarks" about the choice of Kaduna for

Texas woman arrested for unwanted BJ

Usually when a guy awakes to a woman in the midst of a fellatio sesh, he considers it the perfect start to what is probably going to be the greatest day of his life. Megan Hoelting didn't find that guy, and it probably had something to do with the fact he was friends with her husband. 31-year-old Hoelting was charged with "felony burglary with the intent of committing a sexual assault" after she allegedly broke into her husband's friend's house on Monday. The man told police that he awoke to a woman "straddling his legs and dressed only in her underwear" before he felt "the offender place his penis in her mouth." The man said he felt around for a flashlight to see who was rocking his world, but he had to settle for a flashlight app on his phone. That's when he noticed the woman had her "breasts exposed" as well as the fact that she was his buddy's wife. He ordered Hoelting to leave his house, but she refused. He called 911,

Robinho rues Dunga decision: I wanted to take a penalty

The forward was replaced with just three minutes left as Brazil lost to Paraguay on penalties in the Copa America quarter-finals, much to his frustration Brazil forward Robinho has expressed his disappointment at Dunga 's decision to replace him in the closing stages of Saturday's Copa America quarter-final loss to Paraguay. The 31-year-old opened the scoring in Concepcion but Derlis Gonzalez levelled matters from the spot with 18 minutes to go. Robinho was then replaced with three minutes remaining, thus denying him the chance to take a penalty in a shootout that Brazil lost 4-3, with Gonzalez netting the winner. "I wanted to stay on to take a penalty, but I have to respect the coach's decision," Robinho told SporTV after the game. "Usually, I'm there to take a penalty. Now we must face it - our team has a lot to improve on. If one loses, everyone loses." Robinho admits the defeat is hard to take and feels the Selecao should be beatin

Dunga: Virus affected 15 Brazil players before quarter-final

The 51-year-old explained that many of his players were not in prime physical condition and their preparation for the last-eight clash against Paraguay had been disrupted Dunga has revealed a virus was taking its toll on the Brazil squad ahead of their Copa América quarter-final with Paraguay. Brazil took the lead in the final-four clash at the Estadio Ester Roa on Saturday but were pegged back by a Derlis González penalty before falling to defeat in a penalty shoot-out. Following their exit, the coach revealed that a sickness had been affecting the Brazil camp. He admitted that it forced them to scale back the workload in their practice sessions, though insisted it was not the reason for their elimination. "It's not an excuse, but 15 of our players suffered from a virus this week. We had to limit some training sessions," Dunga said in his post-match press conference. "Players suffered from a lot of headaches, back pain and illness - some felt it more

Paraguay repeated their 2011 Copa America penalty shootout win over Brazil to set up a semi-final meeting with Argentina.

But Thiago Silva's second-half handball allowed Derlis Gonzalez to equalise from the spot and force the shootout. Brazil then missed two attempts and went out as Gonzalez again converted. The defeat curtailed Brazil's revival under Dunga following their  7-1 semi-final defeat by Germany  in last summer's World Cup finals in their own country. The eight-times winners have not won the Copa America since 2007, while Paraguay now have the chance to go on and lift the trophy for the first time since 1979. They play Argentina in Concepcion at 00:30 BST on 1 July with the other semi-final seeing host country Chile meet Peru ahead of the final in Santiago on 4 July. David Ospina heading for Emirates exit following arrival of Petr Cech

Image
David Ospina looks set to leave Arsenal following the arrival of Petr Cech. With clubs in Turkey keen . The Colombia international established himself as the number one at the Emirates in January ahead of Wojciech Szczesny. Szczesny was used as the goalkeeper for cup competitions but in the chase for a top four finish and a Champions League place, Ospina was first choice for manager Arsene Wenger. But the arrival of Cech left Ospina stunned. Cech – an £11 million signing from Chelsea – will clearly be the new top goalkeeper at Arsenal and that has left Ospina frustrated. He was unhappy at the length of time he was on the bench following his £ 3 million arrival from Nice last summer. No.1: Cech is set to start the new season as Arsenal's first-choice When given his chance, Ospina felt he acquitted himself well and expected to start next season in the first team. The arrival of Cech has now put a major question mark against that possibility and Ospina looks certain t

Check Out The Deadly Virus Other Than HIV Than Even Condom Can’t Protect You Against!!

Image
Condoms have been hyped as master-protectors against sexually transmitted infections. However, health experts are warning that in as much as condoms significantly decrease transmission rates of the most life-threatening viruses such as HIV and hepatitis B and C, it’s not foolproof. At a meeting of cancer specialists at the University of Nairobi last week, reproductive health expert, Nelly Mugo, said that even as we take protective measures using condoms against most STIs including HIV/Aids, the rubber sheaths cannot provide 100 per cent protection against the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). “Condoms offer 60 per cent of HPV thus the virus can spread through skin-to-skin contact with infected areas of the skin not covered by the condom such as the scrotum, anus, or vulva,” Dr Mugo said. The 2014 Kenya Demographic and Health Survey, released last week, shows that male condoms are the most popular method among sexually active unmarried women. Unmarried men too seem t

How to get Windows 10 for free and keep it forever

Image
There has been a lot of confusion over how to get Windows 10 for free when it launches. For now, anyone can get what is technically the beta version gratis. You just need to enroll in the Windows Insider Programme (you will need a MSA or Microsoft account, Skype or Outlook or Hotmail) and download the Windows 10 preview. However, not only will this version, the insider preview, going to expire on 1 October 2015 but it will also be different from the final version, not least because Microsoft will get rid of all the telemetry tools, thereby improving performance and battery life. These anonymously monitor usage and send back reports about any issues encountered, ultimately helping Microsoft build a better product using data crowdsourced from more than four million Windows 10 users. So if you want to keep Windows 10 come October, then you will HAVE to continue using a new build that will come out by then. This means being tethered to Microsoft's telemetry services forever (

Tevez to join Boca Juniors from Juventus

Image
Argentina forward Carlos Tevez is to leave Juventus after two seasons in which he has revived his career and will rejoin Boca Juniors, the club where he started out and remains a cult figure. The 31-year-old will cut short his three-year contract with Juventus despite an outstanding last season in which he helped them win Serie A and the Coppa Italia and reach the Champions League final, scoring 29 goals in all competitions. Boca Juniors announced the move on their website while Tevez was playing for Argentina in their Copa America quarter-final against Colombia on Friday night. Tevez converted the winning penalty as Argentina won 5-4 in a shootout following a 0-0 draw. Although South American players commonly return home to play out their careers, Tevez's move is unusual in that he is returning at the peak of his form rather than waiting until his mid-30s. Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici said Juventus and Boca had agreed terms and would finalise the transfer &

Everton have confirmed the signing of Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu. The 21-year-old has signed a three-year-contract - with the option of a further year - in a deal worth £4.2million. Deulofeu impressed on loan at Goodison Park in the 2013-14 campaign but returned to his parent club and was subsequently loaned out again to Sevilla He has long been touted as one of Barcelona's next generation of stars but has failed to establish himself in first-team football either with the Catalan club or elsewhere and that is reflected in the purchase price. However, for that reason Barcelona have protected themselves against losing one of their brightest young talents by insisting on a release clause within the first two years if they meet certain conditions and having the right of first refusal if Everton decide to sell the player. Toffees boss Roberto Martinez, who had a good relationship with Deulofeu, has kept tabs on the youngster and moved quickly to make him his second s

C0lombia: The memory of Maria Nelly Murillo's mother and her own maternal instinct kept her going for five days as she fought to save her baby after their plane crashed in the Colombian jungle. Murillo and her eight-month-old son Yudier Moreno made headlines around the world when they were found alive deep in the jungle five days after the small twin-engine plane transporting them crashed in northwestern Colombia. "I just thought of my mom and my son," according to Red Cross volunteer Acisclo Renteria on Thursday quoted the 18-year-old mother as saying. 5 Reasons Period s*x Is The Best s*x

5 Reasons Period s*x Is The Best s*x Just make sure to opt for dark sheets. Recently, a friend of mine was fooling around with a guy the day after she was pretty sure her period had ended. Turned out it hadn’t, and she was mortified when his fingers emerged from being frisky … bloody. A variant of this has happened to all of us, and even if we’re dead set against the concept of s*x during our period, the issue has absolutely come up – or impacted our ability to be spontaneous! Whether you find the idea of s*x during your period gross or exciting is up to you. Perhaps colored by society – many cultures and religions consider it taboo – we shy away from even talking about it. But as long as you’re prepared, s*x during your period can be a great idea; just make sure it’s not the day you break out those white sheets! 1. It helps relieve cramps. There’s no reason to stop having s*x just because you have your period. In fact, it’s a great time to have it.
