The 33-year-old, who signed what Arsenal described as a "long-term contract", made more than 400 appearances in 11 years for the Blues. Chile's Gonzalo Jara will miss the rest of the Copa America after being given a three-match ban for anincident in which he appeared to poke his finger against Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani's backside. South American football governing body Conmebol said the defender was being suspended for "unsporting behaviour". Jara has also been fined $7,500 (£4,780). The incident happened during Chile's  1-0 quarter-final win  last Thursday. Cavani was given a second yellow card after he slapped Jara, who went unpunished, in retaliation. Former West Brom and Nottingham Forest defender Jara's ban means he will miss the semi-final clash with Peru on Monday and, depending on the result of that game, either the final or third-place playoff. A former Super Eagles Captain, Sunday Oliseh, has said Nigeria may, for the umpteenth time, miss out on qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations. DMX was reportedly arrested outside Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Friday night over allegations of unpaid child support. Fifteen Boko Haram militants were killed Wednesday and 20 others captured, in a confrontation with Nigerien military, a military spokesman said, adding that the country’s soldiers have also destroyed ammunition, cars and motorcycles seized from the militants.
