Nigerian Actress Kate Henshaw's House On Fire

The residence of leading Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw in Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos caught fire on Thursday.

The fire started around 3pm and neighbours struggled to put out the fire.

According to witnesses, the outbreak might have been caused by an electric surge. This is according to a publication by The Cable.

Henshaw is a Nigerian actress. In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role

Pictures of Lagos in 2050, created by an architect

It is interesting to know that the sci-fi world is starting to notice Lagos; the large and industrious city got mentioned in the movie Captain America.  If you have seen the movie, then you would know that a lot of action went on in the fictional city that was created in the movie. This made the hashtag #CaptainamericaInNigeria trend on social medias. Olalekan Jeyifous, a Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based artist, has recreated this major city in Nigeria with his artistic waves of imaginations in a series dubbed ‘Shanty Megastructures’. Jeyifous, an architect turned artist has been able to show through these pictures what Lagos would look like in 2050.  According to his creations, the city’s luxury real estate areas would be replaced by tin shacks. Nani completes move to Valencia

Portugal international Nani have completed a £7million move to join Spanish side Valencia. The former Manchester United forward showed fans some serious capoeira (Brazilian martial arts dance) moves at his unveiling at new club.
